Engelhard, one of the oldest names in precious metals, has built an enviable reputation for producing purity and quality in bullion bars.

By the mid-1970s, demand for silver bars was robust, and Engelhard Mineral and Chemicals Corp. began producing .999 fine silver bullion bars. Engelhard silver bullion bars were produced until the mid-1980s when investor interest waned, and they can still be purchased today from silver dealers, private parties or online (Ebay).
